Rolex’s sister brand Tudor has been making great leaps forward in their lineup over the past few years. They added in an all-black model and a new blue version of their chronograph.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 42mm. It has a sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 150 meters. It has a bidirectional rotatable 12-hour  bezel for second time-zone display. It comes on a steel bracelet with folding clasp and an additional fabric strap with buckle, much like the grey chrono model the year before. Movement is the automatic Tudor caliber 2892 (based on an ETA) with chronograph module and comes with a power reserve of 45 hours.

Ref 742000CR Fast Rider Black Shield

The Fast Rider Black Shield is certainly a fancy name for this piece. The 42mm case is ceramic and in matt black. The tachymetric scale is engraved onto the black ceramic bezel. The screw-down crown is steel black PVD, as are the chrono pushers. Water resistant to 150 meters and the movement is the automatic Tudor caliber 7753 (based on an ETA) with a power reserve of 46 hours. It comes on a leather or rubber strap with matching a black PVD coated clasp.
